Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is USD$232,000 per year - USD$258,000 per year.

About the Role:

As a Staff Security Engineer, you will lead the development of a dynamic, autonomous security ecosystem across Uberโ€™s multi-cloud estate, focusing on Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and AI-driven security solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the roadmap for identity-centric security and automated posture management.
  • Design and deploy multi-agent systems for security remediation.
  • Implement frameworks to ensure safety and precision in security actions.
  • Mentor engineers and bridge the gap between security research and engineering.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security, particularly with GCP and OCI.
  • Expertise in CSPM frameworks and security automation.
  • Experience in building scalable systems using Go, Python, or Java.
  • Professional experience with AI applications in security.
