USD$202,000 - USD$224,000 per year

About the Role:

The Uber Agent Platform team is building the platform for AI agents that run parts of the business, providing tools and infrastructure for creating, evaluating, debugging, and deploying multi-agent systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Build core platform capabilities for developing, evaluating, and deploying AI agents at scale.
  2. Design evaluation frameworks and automated testing integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  3. Develop managed platform services supporting reliable multi-agent systems.
  4. Create registries for agents, tools, and skills for easy discovery and reuse.
  5. Deliver intuitive developer experiences for rapid iteration from experimentation to production.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficient in Python or Go with a track record of shipping production services.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience in system design, service reliability, and scalability.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kubernetes or similar technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AI Agent development lifecycle.
  • Understanding of LLM-based systems and AI Agent evaluations.
