Software Engineer, Observability

This role is based in multiple locations including New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

1. Design system architecture and own key components for a centralized logging system.
2. Participate in on-call rotation to improve system availability and performance.
3. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to drive adoption and implement cross-product features.

Requirements:

• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in backend languages such as Java, Go, C/C++, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed backend services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distributed systems and data processing.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ElasticSearch.
• Experience with TypeScript and building user interfaces is a plus.
