Software Engineer II- Backend, Marketplace/Maps/Membership/AV

This role is based in multiple locations including New York, Seattle, San Francisco, and Sunnyvale.

Compensation:

USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-engineering teams to gather requirements.
• Lead the entire development lifecycle from architecture design to deployment.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 1 year of experience, or a PhD.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
• 1 year of experience in backend development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• More than 3 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience with highly available distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in algorithms and data structures.
