Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of engineers working on grocery fulfillment capabilities
- Strategize and drive fulfillment architecture focusing on scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Build relationships across key platform teams at Uber
- Facilitate technical decision making and enhance the team's engineering craft
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science with over 10 years of industry experience
- Proven track record at the Sr. Staff Engineer level or higher
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, or Go
- Exceptional communication skills
- Leadership experience in mentoring engineers

- Domain expertise in logistics, fulfillment, or payments
