USD$267,000 - USD$297,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of engineers working on grocery fulfillment capabilities
  • Strategize and drive fulfillment architecture focusing on scalability, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Build relationships across key platform teams at Uber
  • Facilitate technical decision making and enhance the team's engineering craft

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science with over 10 years of industry experience
  • Proven track record at the Sr. Staff Engineer level or higher
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, or Go
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Leadership experience in mentoring engineers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain expertise in logistics, fulfillment, or payments
