Senior Backend Software Engineer, Global E-commerce Governance Platform

This role is based in San Jose.

Compensation:

$212800 - $387600 annually

Responsibilities:

- Build e-commerce solutions for TikTok Shop for the US market.

- Design and develop backend systems for information-security, compliance, and customer experience.

- Improve system design and architecture for stability and performance.

- Mentor and grow the engineering team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend services using Java, Golang, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL, Redis, Kafka.
