Sr. Backend Engineer, Data Platform, Vehicle Software

This role is based in Palo Alto, California.

Compensation:

$140,000 - $300,000/year plus cash and stock awards.

What you'll do:

• Build and improve scalable distributed systems.
• Develop back-end systems capable of handling hundreds of trillions of events per day.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and data scientists to drive efficient solutions.

What you'll bring:

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in Rust, Java, Scala, Python, or Go.
• Experience with data technologies like Trino, Presto, and Kafka.

Tech stack:

Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spark, Parquet, Presto, Trino.
