Financial Crimes Compliance Officer, Australia & New Zealand

This role is based in Australia, preferably in Sydney, with remote work options available.

Compensation:

A$160,000 - A$240,000/year

What you'll do:

Serve as the primary liaison with regulators, manage compliance programs, and lead regulatory engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the AML/CTF Compliance Officer for Australia and New Zealand.
• Update senior management on compliance initiatives.
• Enhance compliance policies and frameworks.
• Lead external audits and inspections.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of the payments industry and relevant legislation.
