Backend Engineer, Payments and Risk

This role is remote in the United States.

Compensation:

$155,700 - $285,600/year

What you'll do:

Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for managing money at a global scale. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain APIs handling billions of money movement requests.
• Debug critical production issues across services.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.

Minimum requirements:

• 2-12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in any programming language.
• Ability to work collaboratively and thrive with autonomy.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Docker).
