Backend Engineer, Payments and Risk

This role is based in New York, with options for hybrid or remote work.

Compensation:

$155,700 - $285,600/year

What you'll do:

Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for managing money movement at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Debug and solve critical production issues across services.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• 2-12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in any programming language.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Docker/Kubernetes).
