Backend Engineer, Link

This role is based in Toronto.

Compensation:

CA$135,200 - CA$202,800/year

What you'll do:

Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for financial transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain large-scale systems handling money movement requests.
• Debug and resolve production issues across services.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve internal engineering standards.

Requirements:

• 2-10+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in any programming language.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale financial systems.
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
