Backend Engineer, Data

This role is remote in Canada.

Compensation:

CA$135,200 - CA$258,000/year

What you'll do:

Design, develop, and own data pipelines and models for Stripe’s Growth, Sales, and Marketing teams. Collaborate with various internal teams to enhance data visibility and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data pipelines and models.
• Manage SLAs for data pipelines and web applications.
• Build data foundations using Spark, Scala, and Airflow.
• Refine existing data marts for performance forecasting.
• Track key GTM product metrics.

Who you are:

Minimum 3 years in Software Engineering, with a focus on data services. Strong background in backend languages (Scala, Java) and SQL.
