Backend Engineer, Core Technology

This role is based in Berlin, Germany.

Compensation:

€106,400 - €159,600/year

What you'll do:

Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure, participate in roadmap planning, and debug production issues.

Responsibilities:

• Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure
• Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization
• Deliver value through collaboration with multiple customers and stakeholders
• Debug production issues across services

Minimum requirements:

• 2-12+ years of industry software engineering experience
• Ability to write well-factored algorithms and experience with data structures
• Hands-on experience with large scale distributed systems
• Strong coding skills in any programming language
• Strong collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive on autonomy and responsibility
