Backend / API Engineer, Billing

This role is remote in the United States.

Compensation:

$156,800 - $285,600 per year

What you'll do:

Shape and build a suite of products for efficient business modeling and operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical features.

Responsibilities:

• Design next-generation Stripe products for high growth.
• Deliver value through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and debug production issues.

Who you are:

Minimum 2-12+ years in backend software development, proficient in languages like Go, Java, or C/C++. Experience with large-scale distributed systems is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures.
• Experience in subscription management or financial reporting.
