Backend/ API Engineer, Bank Transfers

This role is based in London.

Compensation:

£81,600 - £122,400

What you'll do:

Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for bank transfer payments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with high-profile users to iterate on product features.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain large-scale systems for money movement requests.
• Debug production issues across services.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance features and internal processes.

Requirements:

• 2 - 6 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in any programming language.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Interest in diverse technologies and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-based services (e.g., gRPC, GraphQL, AWS).
