Senior Software Engineer, TV Playback (C++)

This role is based in London or Stockholm with flexible work options available.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and evolve the C++ integration layer for Spotify’s audio and video playback on TV devices.
• Integrate with platform-native media frameworks such as AVPlayer and ExoPlayer.
• Own playback areas including buffering strategies and A/V synchronization.
• Debug performance issues across multiple layers.
• Collaborate with platform and device teams for real-world implementations.

Who you are:

• Experienced in building low-level systems in C++, ideally in media domains.
• Familiar with native playback frameworks and video playback fundamentals.
• Skilled in debugging performance issues and collaborating across teams.
