Senior Fullstack Engineer, Backstage Portal, Data Experience

This role is based in New York, with flexibility to work from home and attend in-person meetings as needed.

Compensation:

$164,448-234,926/year plus equity

Responsibilities:

• Develop Backstage-powered UIs with TypeScript and React, and build Node.js backend services.
• Maintain connectors that sync datasets and metadata from data warehouses into our Data Registry.
• Collaborate with customers and data teams to identify problems and iterate on solutions.
• Lead projects from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring quality and scalability.

Requirements:

• Experience with Node.js and modern web technologies (TypeScript, React).
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with data platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
