Senior Engineer, User Platform

Location: New York

Compensation:

$164,448-234,926/year plus equity

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs for Spotify's creator authorization systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex problems.
• Maintain business-critical authorization systems ensuring high availability and stability.
• Promote sound engineering practices and contribute to a culture of high-quality systems.
• Share knowledge and mentor other engineers.
• Leverage AI to improve systems and automate tasks.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Java, SQL; familiarity with React, Typescript, Next.js is a plus.
• Understanding of server-side vs client-side development.
• Collaborative and inclusive team player.
• Interest in the authorization domain.
