This role is based in London or Stockholm.
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and operate backend services and data pipelines for Spotify Rights Center.
- Collaborate with product, insights, design, and engineering teams to meet the needs of rightsholders and partners.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable backend systems with strong operational ownership.
- Support the evolution of platform architecture and contribute to modern engineering practices.
Who you are:
- Experience in designing and building distributed, high-volume services in Java or similar languages.
- Familiarity with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Ability to support production systems and apply learnings from incidents.
Where you'll be:
Flexible work location within the EMEA region, excluding France.
