Senior Backend Engineer, Data Platform

This role is based in London or Stockholm with flexible work options available.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build infrastructure for data processing.

• Work with experienced engineers to improve the data processing ecosystem.

Who you are:

• Proficient in backend development using Java.
• Experienced with big data, SQL, and data analytics platforms like BigQuery.
• Familiar with JVM-based data processing frameworks (e.g., Flink, Spark).
• Comfortable with cloud infrastructure and containerized applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes and data engineering pipelines in Scala/Python.
• Value quality and agile software processes.
