Senior Backend Engineer, Data Platform

This role is based in London or Stockholm, with flexibility to work from home.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build infrastructure for data processing.
• Develop tools that enhance developer productivity and cost-efficiency.
• Support improvements in the data processing ecosystem through best practices.

Who you are:

• Proficient in backend development using Java.
• Experienced with SQL and data analytics platforms like BigQuery.
• Familiar with JVM-based data processing frameworks (e.g., Flink, Spark).
• Comfortable with cloud-based infrastructure and containerized applications.
• Experience with data engineering pipelines in Scala and/or Python.
