What you'll do:
- Design and build systems for audiobook ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Contribute across the stack, focusing on backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to create reliable systems.
- Take operational responsibility for the services you build.
- Mentor and collaborate with peers to foster an inclusive engineering culture.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially in backend systems.
- Proficient in Java, gRPC, and GCP.
- Curious and willing to work across the stack.
- Collaborative and growth-minded, embracing Spotify's culture.
