This role is based in London or Stockholm with flexibility to work from home.
What you'll do:
- Own and evolve Spotify’s perimeter infrastructure, handling traffic at scale.
- Design, build, and maintain systems for cloud networking and monitoring.
- Contribute to distributed systems by writing and improving production-grade code.
- Enhance traffic protection capabilities including DDoS mitigation.
- Run disaster recovery exercises and troubleshoot complex system behaviors.
Who you are:
- Experience with Kubernetes and networking fundamentals.
- Strong coding skills in at least one programming language.
- Comfortable operating and debugging distributed systems.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices like testing and CI/CD.

This role allows for flexibility to work where you work best, with some in-person meetings.
