Sr. Software Engineer, Backend

This role is based in San Francisco, Seattle, or remote.

Compensation:

$149,600—$308,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Build out the backend for Pinner-facing features.
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams.
• Employ automated testing for high-quality features.
• Design and operate large scale, distributed systems.
• Improve developer processes and experiences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in backend tech stacks and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in Python, Java, C++, or Go.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
