This role is open to remote employees or relocation assistance is available to one of our OpenAI offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City.
Compensation:
$325K – $405K + Offers Equity
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable software systems for security observability.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for security-relevant data.
- Improve the resilience and reliability of data systems.
- Collaborate with security teams to reduce security risk.
- Support forensic investigations and compliance efforts.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Background in building data pipelines for security use cases.
- Generalist engineering mindset with flexibility across technical domains.
- Effective collaboration with security and engineering teams.
- Proactive problem-solving approach focused on security data visibility.
