This role is open to remote employees or relocation assistance is available to one of our OpenAI offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City.

Compensation:

$325K – $405K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable software systems for security observability.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines for security-relevant data.
  • Improve the resilience and reliability of data systems.
  • Collaborate with security teams to reduce security risk.
  • Support forensic investigations and compliance efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
  • Background in building data pipelines for security use cases.
  • Generalist engineering mindset with flexibility across technical domains.
  • Effective collaboration with security and engineering teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach focused on security data visibility.
