Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security

Location:

Remote - US, San Francisco, Seattle, and New York City

Compensation:

$292.5K – $405K + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement production-grade security services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers to embed security in high-performance compute clusters.
• Develop automation and detection tooling for risk mitigation in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Drive initiatives for encryption, machine identity, and network isolation.
• Lead design reviews and threat models for new systems.

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Go, Rust, or C/C++.
• Experience with critical security infrastructure and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of security principles and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with container security and modern authentication standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
