$260K – $405K + Offers Equity • Multiple Ranges

Responsibilities:

  • Innovate on Detection and Response infrastructure to engineer and automate end-to-end detection and investigation workflows.
  • Develop, measure, and tune detection rules for effective operations.
  • Drive projects focusing on insider threats and emerging risks within AI infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and investigative teams to support investigations.
  • Use AI to enhance OpenAI’s Security posture.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in detection/response or insider-risk roles.
  • Familiarity with macOS, Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of adversary tactics, data exfiltration techniques, and incident management.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Ability to manage projects and prioritize risk reduction efforts.
