About the Role:
OpenAI is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Security (InfraSec) team, responsible for securing GPU supercomputing clusters, multi-cloud infrastructure, and sensitive data.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build security controls across diverse layers including physical hardware, firmware, OS, Kubernetes, and networks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy security enhancements across infrastructure.
- Work on high-impact projects such as checkpoint encryption and network isolation.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of security principles and common vulnerabilities.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts.
