Security Engineer, Host Assurance

This role is based in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.
Compensation:
$293K – $385K + Offers Equity
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and operate components of the Host Assurance platform; ensure hosts are verifiably trustworthy; build systems for machine identity and certificate issuance; validate hardware and firmware; participate in incident response.
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering experience in reliable production systems
- Expertise in PKI, HSMs, applied cryptography, secure boot, or hardware security
- Ability to work across systems boundaries
- Experience in replacing manual security mechanisms with durable infrastructure
