Security Engineer, Detection and Response

This role is based in Sydney, Australia, Tokyo, Japan, or Singapore with a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities:

• Drive projects in security verticals including AppSec, InfraSec, OffSec, and Detection and Response.
• Innovate to solve novel security problems.
• Collaborate on AI research to improve OpenAI’s security posture.
• Build tools for managing detection rules and automate response processes.

Requirements:

• Experience in Security or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Knowledge of modern adversary tactics and procedures.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
