Principal Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security

This role is based in multiple locations including New York City, Seattle, and San Francisco.

Compensation:

$277.6K – $490K/year + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

  • Own the architecture and roadmap for core security services.
  • Design and implement planet-scale security systems.
  • Lead cross-functional launches with engineering teams.
  • Build security primitives that become platform building blocks.
  • Leverage models to develop automation and detection tooling.
  • Mentor engineers and raise engineering quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong software engineering skills with experience in distributed systems.
  • Experience with critical infrastructure, particularly security infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of security principles and common vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives.
  • Expertise in securing large-scale cloud platforms.
