Backend Software Engineer, Jobs Platform

This role is based in San Francisco.

Compensation:

$293K – $490K/year + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Design and ship core systems for search, matching, and recommendation.
• Collaborate with ML teams to integrate models into backend systems.
• Run experiments to improve ranking models and recommendation strategies.
• Build scalable systems supporting millions of users.
• Create human-centered experiences powered by AI.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with production machine learning systems.
• Familiarity with vector databases and search indices.
• Strong backend/system design skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
