Backend Software Engineer, ChatGPT Enterprise

This role is based in San Francisco.

Compensation:

$230K – $385K/year + Offers Equity

Responsibilities:

• Build backend systems that power enterprise controls, including permissions and compliance workflows.
• Design architectures for enterprise workloads meeting specific requirements.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to implement scalable systems.
• Enhance reliability and operational maturity of ChatGPT Enterprise services.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, Typescript).
• Experience with distributed systems emphasizing reliability and security.
• Familiarity with relational databases like Postgres/MySQL.
• Interest in AI/ML is a plus.
