Senior Software Engineer - NIM Factory Container and Cloud Infrastructure

This role is based in Santa Clara, CA or remote.

Compensation:

$184,000 - $356,500/year based on level and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and harden containers for NIM runtimes and inference backends.
  • Develop Python tooling for build orchestration, CI/CD integrations, and test harnesses.
  • Help design Kubernetes deployment patterns, including GPU scheduling and autoscaling.
  • Optimize container performance and collaborate across teams for day-0 availability of new models.
  • Mentor teammates and set high engineering standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in production software with a focus on containers and Kubernetes.
  • Strong Python skills and experience with Kubernetes and cloud services.
  • Expert knowledge of Docker, image layering, and multi-stage builds.
  • Experience operating workloads on Kubernetes and building GPU workloads.
  • A degree in Computer Science or related field.
