Distributed Systems Engineer (L5) - Service Networking

This role is based in the USA and offers remote work options.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $720,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Build and operate functionality within data and control planes to enhance security, observability, and resilience for cloud traffic.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to improve developer and product experience.

Requirements:

• Experience in building and operating reliable distributed systems in a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Envoy, Istio).
• Understanding of security concerns like DDoS, TLS, and authentication.
• Ability to tackle complex problems with minimal guidance.
