Distributed Systems Engineer (L5 + L6), Compute Runtime

This role is remote, based in the USA.

Compensation:

$499,000 - $900,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain software for Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Architect and design solutions for new workloads and improve existing ones.
• Develop and maintain Kubernetes and containerd customizations.
• Debug performance and operational issues with container workloads.
• Optimize compute platform efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Compute infrastructure; 8+ years in software development.
• Experience with container runtimes (Kubernetes, containerd).
• Strong debugging skills in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, or C/C++.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
