Distributed Systems Engineer 6 - Decisioning & Optimization

This role is based in New York, New York, with responsibilities including owning the technical direction of the Decisioning & Optimization team, architecting real-time ad decisioning systems, and collaborating with Science and Platform teams.

Compensation:

$499,000.00 - $900,000.00/year

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical direction of the team, including architecture reviews and capacity planning.
• Architect and evolve real-time ad decisioning optimization paths.
• Scale ads model serving infrastructure for high-performance ML models.
• Design and implement real-time pacing systems for budget delivery.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in distributed systems and backend services; 3+ years in the ads domain.
• Experience with ML model serving infrastructure and ad tech systems.
• Strong understanding of ad serving concepts and technical leadership.
