Distributed Systems Engineer 5 - Live Ad Serving

Compensation:

$170,000 - $720,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Architect and build distributed backend systems for real-time dynamic ad insertion (DAI).
• Develop ad-insertion logic and ensure operational reliability during live events.
• Drive operational excellence through capacity planning and incident management.
• Maintain expertise in ad-tech standards and emerging streaming technologies.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience, with 4+ years in the Ads domain.
• Experience with live content ads and building ad servers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves:

• Experience in CTV space and knowledge of virtual ad technologies.
• Familiarity with ML model deployment for low-latency ad systems.
