Distributed Systems Engineer 5 - Billing Platform

This role is based in the USA - Remote.

Compensation:

$388,000 - $619,000 per year

Responsibilities:

Design and operate highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems for billing and subscription management.

Requirements:

• Experience with billing systems and tax platforms.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases like Cassandra and Aurora Postgres.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience with tax engines and large-scale data processing frameworks.
