Technical Support Engineer - Windows Networking

This position is based in Tokyo, Japan, with a flexible work style including remote options.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for Windows OS, focusing on networking issues such as TCP/IP, SMB, and DNS. Engage with customers through various communication channels to diagnose problems and offer solutions. Collaborate with escalation engineers and development teams for complex issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a support engineer, system engineer, or software developer.
• Basic understanding of infrastructure components (hardware, OS, network).
• Experience in system implementation, operation, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications (MCSE, MCSA, etc.)
• Experience with server OS operations and deployments.

Language Requirements:

• Business-level Japanese proficiency.
• English reading comprehension is a plus.
