Senior Security Engineer

This role is based in Redmond, Washington, with a requirement to work in-office 3 days a week.

Compensation:

USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year

Overview:

The Microsoft Offensive Research & Security Engineering (MORSE) team is looking for a security engineer to help secure Microsoft products, focusing on operating systems and cloud computing platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead security reviews to identify and mitigate risks in Microsoft products.
• Act as the primary security contact for new product development.
• Identify vulnerabilities in OS features and virtualization technologies.
• Collaborate with other security teams to develop new mitigations and defenses.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field with relevant experience.

Preferred:

• 5+ years in software engineering or security-related field.
• Experience with vulnerability identification in operating systems and native applications.
• Familiarity with confidential computing technologies.
