Compensation:

£73,800 - £121,300/year

Overview:

The Microsoft Offensive Research & Security Engineering (MORSE) team seeks a Senior Security Engineer to enhance the security of Microsoft’s products and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities in operating systems and platform components.
  • Develop mitigations and protections to improve resilience against vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to security tooling and detection capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to complex security initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in security-related software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with C, C++, or Rust.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in vulnerability research and security protections.
  • Understanding of operating system security fundamentals.
