Security Engineer II

This role is based in Redmond, Washington with a requirement of 3 days in-office work per week.

Compensation:

USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year

Overview:

The MORSE team is responsible for securing Microsoft's operating systems and cloud platforms. You will help build automation and tooling to streamline vulnerability detection.

Responsibilities:

• Equip developers with security tools to identify issues early.
• Improve processes for ubiquitous fuzzing.
• Collaborate with security experts to build tools for common tasks.
• Develop methods for systematic vulnerability detection.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in a related field with 1+ years of experience in security, or Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• 3+ years in software engineering or security-related field.
• Experience with C, C++, or Rust.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public track record of security research.
• Experience with OS security and vulnerability exploitation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows architecture.
