Compensation:
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year.
Overview:
The Microsoft Edge Browser Security Team focuses on securing Edge client code through engagement, proactive vulnerability research, and reactive incident response.
Responsibilities:
- Identify security issues and propose mitigation steps.
- Support implementation of mitigation and remediation activities.
- Investigate and triage security incidents.
- Contribute to incident management and security reviews.
- Apply secure design best practices to reduce vulnerabilities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields with experience in cybersecurity.
- Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements.
- Preferred: Experience with security research and vulnerability discovery.
