Principal Software Engineer

This role is based in Vancouver, Canada with remote work options available.

Compensation:

CAD $142,400 - CAD $257,500 per year

Overview:

Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is transforming analytics with products like Azure SQL DB and Power BI. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will develop core services, APIs, and SDKs for telemetry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain core-services, APIs, and SDKs for telemetry.
• Work with stakeholders to build service data models.
• Lead architecture and design for scalable solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation for service health.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 3+ years developing core services and APIs.
