Member of Technical Staff - Security Engineer

This role is based in Redmond, Washington with a requirement to work in-office 4 days per week.

Compensation:

USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year

Responsibilities:

• Design and build secure, high-performance platform components for Copilot's workflows.
• Develop novel security mechanisms for agentic AI systems.
• Eliminate vulnerabilities by creating secure APIs and sandboxing layers.
• Build and operate offensive security tooling to probe Copilot's autonomy.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to translate prototypes into production-ready features.

Qualifications:

Doctorate in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent experience in security engineering, secure software development, or applied security analytics.

Tech stack:

Experience with C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
