Software Engineer (Systems)

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

$226,138/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, build and test operating systems-level software.
• Build new features and improve existing products.
• Work on diverse problems and design core backend software components.
• Handle large scale data storage and server cluster coordination.
• Code primarily using C/C++, Java, PHP, and Hack.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Analyze and improve system efficiency and stability.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in computer science or related field and 3 years of experience.
• Experience in coding with C, C++, Java, or C#.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Proficient with software development tools and scalable solutions.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and core computer science concepts.
