Software Engineer, Systems

This role is based in New York, NY.

Compensation:

$265,492/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Research, design, develop, build and test operating systems-level software.
• Build new features and improve existing products.
• Work on diverse problems and design core backend software components.
• Handle data storage and synchronization for large server clusters.
• Code primarily using C/C++, Java, PHP, and Hack.
• Conduct design and code reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and other relevant languages.
• Experience in building large-scale infrastructure applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with Linux or UNIX operating systems.
