This role is based in Menlo Park, CA.
Compensation:
$135,000/year to $191,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a comprehensive security expert accountable for security risk management across logical and physical security domains.
- Assess security risk and communicate information about security threats and vulnerabilities to inform business decisions and drive strategy.
- Engineer security solutions across the network, physical, and cyber/logical domains that efficiently protect Meta infrastructure from security threats at scale.
- Develop and operationalize security guidance to align corporate policy, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements into a unified strategy.
- Integrate security solutions throughout the entire data center lifecycle including planning, design, construction, operations, refresh, and decommissioning.
- Support security incident management across all domains and maintain infrastructure supporting network security tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on security experience.
- Technical experience across security domains.
- Experience establishing, scaling, and maturing security projects and programs.
- Basic understanding of network engineering fundamentals, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, network segmentation, and protocol analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Background in intrusion detection, security investigations, and incident response.
- Experience working on or managing projects that have enterprise-wide impact.
