This position is based in Menlo Park, CA, with opportunities for telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation:

$221,578/year to $261,800/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Work with basic security concepts and terminology such as the CIA triad, industry best practices, risk, vulnerability, and threat actors.
  • Create incident reports and process documentation while interacting with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate existing and new technologies to establish security standards for infrastructure technology projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize opportunities to reduce risk to data center infrastructure.
  • Assist in investigating complex technical matters spanning multiple disciplines.
  • Educate partners on standards and policies to drive overall security awareness.
  • Domestic and International Travel 30% required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related field.
  • Completion of a graduate-level course, research project or internship involving security strategies, principles, and practices.
  • Understanding of security risk management and threat modeling.
  • Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
